I wonder what he really did say to get ZZ so wound up. That's the quote we really want to see!
BTW I came across a reference to a great thing that Lloyd George said, but can't actually find the original quote anywhere.
He said something about the war office keeping three sets of casualty figures during WWI - one to delude the public, one to delude parliament and a third set to delude themselves.
